Basketball player Jasiel Rivero, once again the most valuable player in Spanish league

Jasiel Rivero has resurfaced like a phoenix. After being away from the courts for almost a month due to an injury in November, he was recognized the following month as the most valuable player of the ACB League, in Spain.

The power forward from the capital plays for Valencia Basket, and with this award he adds the second of this type in the campaign, the first corresponding to October. He was also selected as the best Latin American player on matchday 12, according to Jit.

Rivero has played in nine games, out of the 14 his team has played. In the first eight, he averages 15.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, 71.8% shooting accuracy from the field and a rating of 22.1. In December, he had an average of 14.7 points, five rebounds and 1.7 blocks.

In matchday 14's competition this Tuesday, Valencia defeated Fuenlabrada 92-86. Rivero was the second leading scorer with 14 points, behind Jared Harper (18). With this result, Valencia adds its seventh victory and sits ninth in the overall standings.
