Done! "CELIA IN CUBA (1925-1962)" is now a reality. 460 pages, 69 images (photos, documents, etc.), 5 appendices about her recordings, discography, filmography, orchestras and ensembles that accompanied her during her "Cuban stage," and awards won, my book is a chronological journey through that important period in the career of the most universal of Cuban singers. It is, above all, a tribute to her talent and her musical legacy and an opportunity for all generations of Cubans to learn more about her.

Special gratitude to OMER PARDILLO CID and the CELIA CRUZ FOUNDATION for all they do in favor of preserving Celia's legacy, and for the extraordinary help that access to Celia's archives and Omer's own experience while at her side meant for me.

The book's cover design is by ABEL FERRO. In this tribute I have been accompanied by 3 spectacular Cuban women: in Madrid, TANIA CORDERO, as editor; from Miami, MARIETTA GONZÁLEZ, supporting her partner Abel in the management and processing of images; and PILAR FERNÁNDEZ MELO, from Havana, in interior design, layout and image processing.
