Disco Clásicos de Fabré Opens Eighth Program of Tempo Cubano

July 3, 2020

The phonogram Classics of Fabré, which constitutes a tribute by the Young Classics of Son to maestro Cándido Fabré, through new versions of his most emblematic songs, opened the eighth installment of the Tempo Cubano program.

The album with which the Empresa de Grabaciones y Ediciones Musicales (EGREM) this time initiated its already habitual Friday presentation is composed of 12 songs by the important son musician, with the style that characterizes the Young Classics, among them Fabré llegó, Guayabita del pinar and A la hora que me llamen voy.

With the album Todo cambia de color, by the interpreter of Cuban songwriting Leo Vera, the gathering continued, a material where you can enjoy songs such as Castigo, Ahora and Latidos de miel, in which the artist once again displays his interpretive versatility, according to a press note.

It is followed by a CD that came to light in 2018, but which is taken up again due to the importance it has for the orchestra Arnaldo y el Talismán, and it is the material Razones para un sueño, which gathers the most popular songs of the group, since it was founded by Arnaldo Rodríguez in 2002.

In CD/DVD format arrives this production, in which you can find songs such as Depende, Canto a mi bandera and 45 razones para un sueño, among others.

To close the broadcast, Los jubilados returned, who had already presented in the space with the phonogram El son no se jubila, and on this occasion they offered details about the album Cubano vuelve a tu ritmo.

Under the musical production of Jorge Luis Pujals and Ricardo Rodríguez, the material constitutes a tribute to Cuban music and to Reina de los campos de Cuba, Celina González, through the great quality that defines the interpretation of these musicians, united after their retirement to demonstrate that son does not retire.

With this delivery every Friday at two in the afternoon, EGREM made available to its audience the best of the discography of its catalog, as well as more than 70 productions presented to Cubadisco 2020.

The program, produced between EGREM and the audiovisual production company Lía Video of Santiago de Cuba, can be watched in real time on the social media profiles of the Instituto Cubano de la Música, the Ministerio de Cultura, through the Streaming Cuba channel, the official Facebook page and EGREM's YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/egremmusica.
