The troubadour Augusto Blanca will be the guest, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of his birth, of the cultural program Diálogos a viva voz which, under the direction of journalist and critic Fernando Rodríguez Sosa, will take place on Saturday, February 15, at three in the afternoon, at the Álbum Café, in Artemisa.
At this meeting, sponsored by UNEAC and EGREM de Artemisa, Rodríguez Sosa will discuss the book "Diario de mi primer viaje. Alemania febrero 1972", published by Ediciones La Memoria, in which Augusto Blanca recounts the experiences lived during his first trip abroad, to participate in the Berlin Political Song Festival.
During the time reserved for poetry, a recording of the poem «Receta de amor», in the voice of its author Guillermo Rodríguez Rivera, will be heard.
The host of Diálogos a viva voz, Fernando Rodríguez Sosa –awarded the National Cultural Journalism Prize "José Antonio Fernández Castro"— maintains several spaces for literary promotion on Cuban radio and television, as well as in the Havana bookstore "Fayad Jamís" and, for twenty years, developed the cultural program "Entre puentes" in Matanzas.
