"I Shouldn't Have Left You Alone", music video of the song composed by Descemer Bueno together with Enrique Iglesias and Jacob Forever, premiered last Friday, June 5th under the Sony Latin Music label on Decemer's YouTube channel.
This is the first single from what will be his new album "El hijo de Mercedes", which will be released in July.
The title of this album, with which he pays tribute to his mother, precisely explains the origin of his name, one of the questions that has followed the artist throughout his career due to its peculiarity. Descemer emerges as a play on syllables composed from the name of Mercedes, his mother.
His musical work, initially recognized in Cuba, where he has collaborated with multi-awarded artists such as Omara Portuondo, Carlos Varela, Issac Delgado, among many others, extends to the rest of the world through collaborations with the most prominent artists of the moment.
His compositions have climbed the popularity charts through the voices of Enrique Iglesias, Marco Antonio Solís, Juan Luis Guerra, Romeo Santos, Ana Torroja, Thalia, Fonseca, Camila, Wisin y Yandel, among others.
He has to his credit 28 nominations and 51 international awards that include multiple Latin Grammys, Latin Billboards, Latin American Music Awards, Premios Lo Nuestro, Premios Tu Mundo, Premios Juventud and the Goya. In addition to 10 ASCAP awards.
Last year he received two quadruple Platinum albums; the first for his song, together with Enrique Iglesias and the duo Zion Y Lennox, "Súbeme la Radio". The second he owes to the success "Bailando", together with Enrique Iglesias and Gente de Zona, which currently has over 2 billion views on YouTube.
After standing out in his native island, over the last two decades Descemer Bueno has traveled the world with his mix of pop and urban sound.
