Descemer Bueno debuts in Buenos Aires

The poet, musician, balladist and one of the most popular composers of the present day, Cuban Descemer Bueno, will make his debut today in Buenos Aires in a concert that he has put a lot of love into.

To the homeland of tango and milonga the musician —who has rubbed shoulders with the most outstanding contemporary artists— arrives with those songs under his arm that are indispensable in his repertoire as a soloist, but also the numerous ones he has popularized alongside Spanish Enrique Iglesias or with an artist from this country, Luciano Pereyra.

'About three and a half years ago I was filming the video No te puedo olvidar with Luciano in the streets of Buenos Aires and now I return for this, my first live concert, it means a lot to me and I think it will mark a before and after in my career', the creator of more than a dozen worldwide hits told Prensa Latina.

Hitting the radio stations today with Nos fuimos lejos, once again alongside Enrique Iglesias and together with another Cuban, el Micha, Descemer is very enthusiastic about tonight's concert at La Trastienda, supported by the prestigious company Electro Rock Producciones, and hopes to sing his most romantic pieces, the axis of my career, he affirmed.

But there will also be those that he has performed with many friends, Bailando, Nos Fuimos Lejos, Subeme la Radio, (with Iglesias and other artists), Ser del sol, alongside his fellow countrymen Buena Fe or Amor bonito, also with the accompaniment of Cuban Leoni Torres.

It will be the first time he performs in Buenos Aires the song he recorded with Luciano Pereyra, which became a hit in Argentina.

There are 19 songs selected for the occasion and hopefully time will allow us to sing them all, Bueno emphasized, who also mentioned that he will try to fulfill requests.

The author of Tus luces sobre mi or Arenas de soledad, to name just a few, is eager to perform for Argentines, for his compatriots who live in this country and others who come from nearby places.

It will be a beautiful day and it will mean a lot to me, I am almost convinced that after that I will see many doors open here, he added.

Unstoppable in this 2019, Descemer hopes that today a seed will begin to be sown that will germinate with this debut in one of the strongest Latin American venues.

On Saturday the musician will also be in Córdoba, and after his time in this southern land, other performances await him in Germany, Poland and Mexico.
