Descemer Bueno Makes Debut at Karl Marx

Cuban singer and songwriter Descemer Bueno will premiere songs in a unique concert on August 30 at the Karl Marx theater in Havana, the artist announced today on social media.

At the event scheduled for 8:00 p.m. local time, the renowned musician will also perform hits from his repertoire along with other surprises, he announced on his Facebook page.

Bueno is one of the most recognized Cuban artists inside and outside the island thanks to his catchy songs, collaborations with popular foreign musicians, and his distinctive singing style.

He has collaborated with major figures on the international scene such as Enrique Iglesias, Luis Enrique, Rosario Flores, Jorge Villamizar, Ricky Martin, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Estopa, Melendi, and Beatriz Luengo.

In 2006 he won the Goya Award as co-author of the soundtrack to the film Habana Blues by Spaniard Benito Zambrano, and his song Cuando me enamoro, performed by Enrique Iglesias and Juan Luis Guerra, won three Latin Grammy Awards in 2010.
