The Remains of Actress Broselianda Hernández Rest in Cuba

Four years have now passed since the sudden death of Cuban actress Broselianda Hernández, and finally, her remains have arrived at the island that saw her born to rest forever.

The same Cuba that saw her grow up and where she established herself as a great actress now receives her thanks to the efforts of family members and close friends who came together to bring her remains back.

It was Jorge Enrique Fernández Falcón, the actress's brother-in-law, who announced the news. With deep gratitude to his brother and Broselianda's husband for carrying out the repatriation.

"Thank you, dear brother, for so much strength, so much love and greatness toward your beloved Brosse," he expressed in his post.

According to Fernández Falcón, the remains arrived "in peace at the land that saw her born, grow up and become great in what she knew best and what was her passion: acting".

Broselianda Hernández died on November 18, 2020 under circumstances that have still not been fully clarified. Her mark on acting, however, endures in the memory of millions of Cubans living inside or outside the island.

Broselianda was a prodigy of acting, regardless of whether it was theater, television or cinema. Her talent quickly made her a figure recognized by several generations of Cubans, despite her young age.

"No one had that voice or that way of being on stage," declared Cuban playwright Norge Espinosa when he learned of Broselianda's death, and those words well summarize the artist's gifts.

In the 80s she made her debut in cinema, television and theater, and by 1990 she starred in "Las honradas," a telenovela where she shared scenes with Jorge Martínez and César Évora. From then on, in every project she participated in including the novels "Doble juego" and various films, she left performances impossible to forget.
