Cuban singer Daymé Arocena is featured in the lineup of the Festival Mucho, whose third online edition will bring together major names in Latin music from Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Paraguay, and Bolivia.
The event, which will take place on September 18 and 19, confirmed the presence of Francisco, El Hombre (Brazil and Mexico), Sr. Flavio (from Fabulosos Cadillacs, Argentina) and Ellen Oléria (Brazil), who will showcase the sonic diversity that characterizes the continent.
Other guests at the festival will be Santa Mala (Bolivia), Villagrán Bolaños (Paraguay) as well as Pascuala Ilabaca and Fauna (Chile), exponents of hip hop, rock, jazz, and regional folklore.
During the virtual encounter, which aims to break down the barriers of Latino stereotypes, there will be educational activities and conferences led by the participants, who will disseminate the current artistic production of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Likewise, the free event will support the social work of the organization TECHO, which operates in 19 countries on the continent and raises donations to help the poorest communities affected by the new coronavirus epidemic.
Under the motto 'São Paulo invites Latin America', the musical event will be broadcast live from the terrace of Edifício Martinelli, located in the Historic Center of São Paulo and through the Festival's Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/festivalMUCHO).
