During the battle round stage this Friday, Dayana Emma received praise from all the coaches and their advisors.
After the stealing time, Dayana Emma has begun to be part of Pablo López's team and jumped with joy after learning that she continued in the program. Dayana's performance singing "¿Dónde está la vida?" by Francisco Céspedes was the key for her to be stolen in the program, relive it!
With her heartfelt and warm voice and her uncontainable emotion, Dayana shone brightly with her version of the popular Francisco Céspedes song. The young woman brought eight of the most popular artists from Spain and Latin America to their feet, including María "La Mala" Rodríguez, who took the stage to hug her.
Alejandro Sanz, her coach, assured that no matter what her decision was at the end of the night, Dayana is destined to be a great artist. Laura Pausini advised Dayana to never stop saying where she comes from because when she sings it's "as if Cuba were here".
At the end of the night, Dayana was not chosen by Sanz's team, who could only keep one of his contestants for the next stage, and decided it would be Adam Ainouz. However, the young Cuban's display of talent, emotion, and authenticity caused Pablo López, who had already told her at the end of her performance that she was "an absolute genius," to use the last steal of the night to add her to his team.
The talented singer-songwriter, after consulting with his advisor Sebastián Yatra, began to sing the song Óleo de una mujer con sombrero, by Silvio Rodríguez, so that Dayana would know that she was the chosen one to fill that coveted spot on Pablo's team.
