The artist makes a comeback with an album in which she returns to her Cuban roots.
To celebrate the 500 years of La Habana, singer and songwriter Cúcu Diamantes will offer today at 06:00 in the afternoon a concert in Plaza Vieja in the historic center of the city, with guests such as José Luis Cortés and Alain Pérez, music producer of her most recent album.
There she will perform the songs from the album Pecados de Picasso, recorded as part of the collaboration between the Unicornio de Producciones Abdala label and the catalog of the Centro Nacional de Música Popular.
Ten years after Cúculand, her first phonogram as a solo artist after her time in the group Yerba Buena that moved the music scene in New York, the artist makes a comeback with an album in which she returns to her Cuban roots.
In Pecados de Picasso, Cúcu Diamantes sings the bolero Borrachera, included in the soundtrack of the series Vientos de La Habana, and El otro, from the film Fátima o El parque de la Fraternidad.
