Cuban Lis Vega is eliminated from Masterchef Celebrity for this traditional Cuban dish

This week Cuban vedette Lis Vega said goodbye to the stoves of Masterchef Celebrity México. News that surprised many, even the judges who saw her as one of the candidates to reach the final.

However, the Cuban dancer, actress and singer on this occasion could not pass the challenge, despite having demonstrated mastery in her previous dishes.

For this opportunity Lis Vega chose a traditional Cuban dish that, apparently, was not entirely to the judges' liking: ropa vieja.

And it is that according to the final verdict this traditional dish was not cooked well enough and it was not enough for her to advance in the competition. For the preparation of this dish, the vedette used guajillo chile to season the broth.

After the announcement that she was not continuing on Masterchef, Lis Vega shared a beautiful message with her followers.

"I have nothing but words of love and infinite gratitude for this magical journey called Masterchef México. Learning, connecting and being grateful for every second. Each one of the little people I got to share with I carry in my heart. Thanks to everyone who supported me in a thousand ways. Now to continue on this path called life that is full of Magic at my step".

Lis Vega also thanked the judges and other team members: "I take with me all of your advice and affection, I admire you very much. To the production team, from the cameramen, makeup, wardrobe, etc".

In 2002 she competed to appear in the Mexican version of Playboy magazine resulting as the winner. After that, the path of Mexican telenovelas opened up for her.
