Cuban-born actor and television host William Valdés was named to People en Español's 2026 "50 Most Beautiful" list, recognized in the publication's television category alongside other Spanish-language on-air personalities. The annual list, topped this year by Mexican singer Belinda, highlighted Valdés as one of four Cuban-born figures included in the 2026 edition.

Valdés was born in Havana on January 10, 1994, and entered Cuba's National Circus School at age five before relocating to Miami as a teenager. He built an early acting career in telenovelas, including a role in the first season of "Grachi" and later "El rostro de la venganza" and "Voltea pa' que te enamores."

He also spent time as a member of the Mexican pop group CD9 in 2013 before turning his focus to television hosting. Over the past decade, Valdés has worked across major Spanish-language networks in the United States and Mexico, including stints on "¡Despierta América!," "Exatlón México," "La Academia" and as co-host of the morning program "Venga la alegría."

His inclusion in this year's People en Español list adds to a run of international recognition for Cuban-born entertainers in 2026, following similar honors for musicians Pitbull and Cimafunk and NFL quarterback Fernando Mendoza.
