Cuban singer-songwriter Liuba María Hevia premiered the music video "Dueños De Mi Fe" alongside Peruvian singer Miryam Quiñones, available on digital platforms.
The song is part of the musical anthology "Vidas paralelas 1B", released in 2017 under the Duende label, in which the trovadora performs part of her musical work as well as versions authored by excellent Cuban and foreign artists.
A pleasure to present this video with our dear Miryam Quiñones. Thanks to my beloved Peru, to the family it has given me, and to my brother Pepe Hevia who devoted his time and talent to this song, Hevia said on her Facebook social media profile.
With more than three decades of artistic career and at least a dozen albums for adults and children, Hevia has won important awards and recognition, and her music has followers in various parts of the world.
For her part, the Peruvian soloist has acted as a worthy representative of Latin American trova before diverse audiences in China, Korea, Spain, Panama, Argentina, Germany and Chile; while in her country, she obtained recognition from the Congress of the nation.
With her singing, Quiñones pays tribute to singers Mercedes Sosa, Violeta Parra and Chabuca Granda, inspirations for her musical creation; while she has shared the stage with renowned trovador Silvio Rodríguez, founder of the Movement of the New Trova in Cuba, during his last tour through Lima.
