The film Stevenson, by Alejandro Gil, will be co-produced between Estudios Churubusco, from Mexico, and the Audiovisual Production Company ICAIC, from the Cuban Institute of Film Art and Industry.
Alexis Triana, president of the prestigious Cuban film institution, confirmed on social media that representatives from the Mexican center, considered among the oldest studios in Latin America, will visit Havana for negotiations with the Cuban side before March 24, the date that commemorates the 65th anniversary of the founding of ICAIC.
Among the functions of Estudios Churubusco, directed by Erwin Neumaier, is providing comprehensive service and promotion for worldwide film production, as explained on their website.
