Concert 104 of the "Tour Through the Neighborhoods," by Silvio Rodríguez

Concert 104 that Cuban singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez will offer next September 13, at 7:00 p.m., as part of his "Tour Through the Neighborhoods" project will take place on 128 B street corner 71, Los Pocitos, Marianao.

Silvio will be accompanied on this occasion by Niurka González (flute and clarinet), Jorge Aragón (piano), Jorge Reyes (double bass), Oliver Valdés (drums and percussion) and Emilio Vega (vibraphone and percussion).

The concert will be dedicated to 30 years of work in Cuba by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), an institution that for decades has sought to provide protection and support to millions of refugees and internally displaced persons around the world.

As in the most recent presentations of this tour, during the time slot between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm, children's and young adult books will be collected for the library of one of the schools in the neighborhood, and also for the community library of the "Akokán" project, in Los Pocitos.
