Lights and Spirits is a documentary about the children's theater company "La Colmenita" from Cuba, which was founded during the darkest years of the country's special period.
The documentary is backed by testimonies from its founders, as well as artists of the caliber of Silvio Rodríguez, Omara Portuondo, Kcho. They are examples of how childhood can be saved with love.

«Lights and Spirits», directed by portal director Luciana Mazza Toimil, tells the story of the Cuban children's theater company "La Colmenita", which was born during the special period of that country.
The documentary features the presence of Carlos Alberto Cremata (founder of La Colmenita), Silvio Rodríguez, Omara Portuondo and Eusebio Leal among others.
It premiered in 2017 at the Gaumont cinema and in turn won several international awards.
