Cuban musician Cimafunk was named to the 2026 edition of People en Español's "50 Most Beautiful" list, in the "Stage Attraction" category honoring music figures recognized for their live presence and impact.

The singer, songwriter and producer, born Erik Alejandro Vera Iglesias in a rural area near Pinar del Río, has established himself in recent years as one of the most visible names in contemporary Cuban music thanks to a sound that blends funk with Afro-Cuban rhythms, earning him three Grammy nominations.

His inclusion on the People en Español list comes during a period of international growth for the artist, who in 2026 has added festival dates across the United States and a collaboration with Emilio Estefan on the official FIFA World Cup album, while keeping up a busy touring schedule that has taken him to stages across the Americas.

Cimafunk joins a small group of Cuban and Cuban-American artists recognized this year by the publication, whose 2026 list was topped by Mexican singer Belinda.
