Cimafunk Releases New Album

The new album by Cuban musician Cimafunk titled Pa'Tu Cuerpa arrived on digital platforms after days of great anticipation, during which he offered several previews of this debut production.

The artist said he felt super happy and grateful for the affection and support given to the first singles, such as Playa Noche, Catalina, Pretty and Dime.

Dime is a special song for me! I improvised most of the lyrics in a single take in the studio, humming over the music of producer Alfredo Gonzales, he recalled in a message to his followers.

He also detailed that for weeks it has been possible to "pre-save the album on your favorite streaming platforms and order the CD and vinyl," before the official release.

Pa'Tu Cuerpa is the third studio album by Erick Alejandro Rodríguez, known on national and international stages as Cimafunk.

The artist, nominated twice for Grammy Awards, has toured the United States, Latin American countries and Europe with a very good reception from the public and critics.

Following his albums Terapia and El Alimento, in this new album he ventures into R&B ballads, which in his view is a new sound, but with the same spirit.

Additionally, the new album features special guests such as Trombone Shorty, George Clinton, Big Freedia and Monsieur Periné, among others.
