Actor César Évora and actress Livia Brito will make up the cast of the next telenovela of the Televisa network, titled "Minas de Pasión"
The filming of the audiovisual, which aims to premiere in August, will begin next week and in it Brito will play the female lead.
In the case of Évora, the Cuban heartthrob will interpret one of the main roles of the drama, which is produced by Mexican television director Pedro Ortiz de Pinedo.
From her social media profile, the Cuban actress shared her good news: "I have great news for you! I'm very happy to tell you that I will be part of a new Televisa project (…) and the truth is that I feel very nervous and happy because this new character will be very different, I'll make a very cool look change, I already want to show you all the behind-the-scenes, stay tuned to my social networks".
Brito will return to the small screen to play Emilia Sánchez, a woman who will do anything for her son. For this role, the Cuban will replace actress Ariadne Díaz, who had initially been announced to star in this production.
As co-star will be seen American-Mexican actor Osvaldo de León, and according to what is known so far the story will take place in a mining town.
Meanwhile, César Évora returns with this new role, just over two months after the premiere of the Univision telenovela "Forgive Our Sins", in which he takes on the role of Héctor Morales.
Brito's announcement in this role surprises her followers, taking into account that last October the artist announced a break in her career in order to become a mother.
However, she has recently stated to some media outlets that she has had problems conceiving, due to endometriosis that has led her to receive treatment to achieve her goal of having a child.
