Carlos Enrique Almirante already knows what happens in Las Vegas. Sometimes it changes your life, and for the better.

The Cuban actor married visual artist Laura Pairot early this week in a simple ceremony, with few friends and family members, and very emotional.

"Accomplices... I only need that look," the actor wrote on Instagram below the typical wedding photo in which the newlyweds clink glasses.

Pairot wore a classic wedding dress, with transparent lace and a sweetheart neckline lining, with the different detail that it had a short skirt. The groom wore a dark suit, and the soundtrack was My Way. An ideal choice for many reasons, including because Vegas was one of Frank Sinatra's and his Rat Pack friends' favorite venues.

Although judging by the way Pairot presented it on Instagram, where she shared part of the song's lyrics, the song has a special meaning.

Son of actor Enrique Almirante, who passed away in 2007, Carlos Enrique has an extensive career in film and television on the island, which includes films such as Madrigal, Lisanka, Habana Eva and Fátima o el Parque de la Fraternidad. The latter is highly valued by the actor, who transformed himself to play a transvestite in the film directed by actor Jorge Perugorría.

Carlos Enrique began his career at age 11 when he went to accompany his father to a recording of El dragón mambí and ended up substituting for an actor in the series.

"Since then, acting became my passion," he told el Nuevo Herald in 2014, on the occasion of his work as host of the contest Minuto de fama 2, on América Tevé.

On that occasion he shared hosting duties of the program with actress and presenter Yory Gómez, who was his girlfriend, and is now married to musician Osamu Menéndez and lives in Florida.

"I have no problem living outside of Cuba," Carlos Enrique said in the interview with el Nuevo Herald. "I spent two years living in Mexico doing commercials. I also lived a year in Colombia while filming a series. I see changes as a new experience to be enjoyed."

HONEYMOON FOR ALMIRANTE AND LAURA PAIROT

The artists have begun their married life taking an extensive tour through California. They are seen posing smiling at Pebble Beach, where they have breakfast next to a golf course, or in a natural landscape in Big Sur, with the sea in the background, in this strait of the coast between San Simeon and Carmel.

Laura also shared a video exploring another landscape in Carmel that she accompanied with the phrase: "Walk so you know yourself." Carlos Enrique said: "San Francisco. A dream come true" and posted a photo of both of them with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

On her art page on Instagram (pairotvisualarts), she usually posts photographs taken by her of faces of regular people, of demonstrations condemning situations of police violence in the United States and in support of Black Lives Matter, and also of mysterious corners of Florida and old buildings in the city of Bruges, in Belgium.

The couple is accustomed to sharing photos on their networks of Miami, where they reside, of the Design District and the hotel The Standard, the former Lido, on Venetian Island.

Almirante vacationed in July in Varadero, where he scuba dived and spent time with colleagues from the industry such as actor Carlos Luis González.
