Cuban singer-songwriter Waldo Mendoza revealed that he and his wife are recovering from coronavirus after a few days dealing with the disease and the fear it generates to suffer from it.
"We are already better from COVID. Thanks to everyone who was concerned and took care of us, especially the medical staff who treated us and who with so much care continues fighting day by day against this invisible enemy," wrote the artist alongside a photo in which he appears with his wife.
"We have now joined the group of those who have overcome this terrible pandemic. I felt great fear of not being able to continue loving and enjoying my family and so many and so many friends," revealed the interpreter of Quién.
Waldo apologized to his followers for "not having announced my illness to them publicly before but we preferred to keep it private. I hope you understand and can excuse me."
The singer assured his audience that his voice has not been affected and that very soon he will be singing for them so they can verify it.
