Cuban singer Duani Ramos participates in Spain's talent show

Young Cuban singer Duani Ramos is currently participating in the musical talent show OP Siglo XXI, which airs on the Television of the Principality of Asturias, Spain.

The competition communicated through its Facebook profile that "from Havana arrives an experienced singer, based in Sama, this new face in OPSXXI and for Asturians is very popular in Latin lands. Tonight, he presents himself to Asturias with `My Princess´".

Likewise, the Cuban artist posted an image on his Instagram account and said that "this photo has great meaning for me because today the competition began and a new stage of my life; eternally grateful to OPSXXI for the opportunity".

Additionally, Ramos informed that "next Thursday I will leave you a link so you can enjoy it live. To you who trust in me I send you a big hug".

OPSXXI is a musical talent show in which unknown singers, of different ages, fight to become the best voice in Asturias, according to the website of the Spanish local television station.

In each of its chapters, two teams will be made up of very well-known faces in music in Asturias, who will have the difficult task of choosing the contestants with the clear objective of having the winner among them. These "celebrities" will later be in charge of the training and advising of the contestants.

"Those who stand out for their vocal qualities and stage presence will be those who manage to convince the jury to become the winner of this new edition of OPSXXI", concluded the aforementioned website.

Duani Ramos, based in Lama, one of the six urban districts into which the capital of the municipality, Langreo, is divided, stood out on the island for his participation in the second season of the state television competition Sonando en Cuba, where he obtained the Popularity Award.

He later became part as vocalist of the well-known musical group Moncada, with whom he performed several concerts in Cuba, mainly in activities related to some institutions such as the University Student Federation FEU, the Union of Young Communists UJC or the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution CDR.
