Cuban singer Gretel Cazón pays homage through music to the renowned Ernesto Lecuona, through the music video for the song Como arrullo de palmas, a song written by this great composer and part of the artist's upcoming CD.
Together with the Unicornio Label of Abdala Productions, Gretel Cazón has prepared the premiere of this music video, with the hand of Pablo Diez, director of the Barbarito Diez Orchestra, and outstanding musicians from the country, highlights a press release.
Our version is a duet, said Cazón, and celebrated the joy of having Pablo Diez as a guest, as well as the opportunity to gradually present the songs from her CD that is about to premiere.
Como arrullo de palmas, which is part of Rumba Azul, the singer's new album produced by Gastón Joya, is a tribute to the most widely disseminated of Cuban composers on the 126th anniversary of his birth and constitutes a true gift for lovers of Cuban music.
Joya, who also plays bass on this production, commented on social networks feeling proud and grateful for the opportunity to prepare this album. Throughout this moment we feel Barbarito not only in this song. In other songs that were part of his repertoire and we chose for Rumba Azul, he added.
Gretel Cazón was also accompanied by a constellation of stars such as Yaroldi Abreu on percussion, Oliver Valdés on drums and Julito Padrón on trumpet. About the video, Cazón noted that it was produced by themselves, who wanted to capture a magical moment so important for everyone.
