Camilo Echeverry, along with Alexander Abreu and Havana D' Primera, have released a salsa version of "Sálvame", one of the major hits by Mexican pop band RBD.
In this collaboration, the two artists have fused their musical styles to create a single full of Latin rhythms, highlighting the trumpet sound and salsa flavor of Havana D' Primera.
Alexander Abreu shared the music video on his Facebook page, thanking Camilo, the husband of Evaluna Montaner, for inviting him to participate in this project. In his post, the Cuban musician expressed his motivation for working:
"I work so that one day my children are proud of me. I work to honor the memory of my father and the living spirit of my beautiful mother. I work so that the world can learn to love our culture. I work to transcend and for my country to remember me the day I am no longer here".
For his part, Camilo thanked Alexander Abreu for joining this version of "Sálvame", a song that he has loved since childhood. "Let's be honest. What an incredible song! I've loved it since I was little. And to everyone who loves this song like I do, I already know what you're thinking: This is the version we didn't know we needed!", wrote the Colombian artist.
This new interpretation of "Sálvame" is part of "Cuatro", Camilo's fourth studio album.
