Cuban singer Camila Guevara once again drew attention on social media by responding with humor when some followers ask her to perform Hasta Siempre Comandante, the song associated with her grandfather Ernesto Che Guevara.
In an interview conducted on the radio program Perros de la Calle, broadcast from Buenos Aires, the artist recounted that this request is repeated frequently, even when she invites her audience to choose songs from her repertoire. Her reaction was brief and smiling: she refused to sing the song and preferred to make clear that her artistic proposal goes in another direction.
The scene aligns with other recent statements from the performer, who has also spoken publicly about the influence left on her by her grandparents, Che Guevara and Pablo Milanés, two names that mark her family history and her connection to Cuban music.
