She becomes the first female singer to reach one billion 'streams' on digital platforms.
Camila Cabello did it again and once again makes history with her hit 'Havana', reaching one billion plays on Spotify, a record that places her as the first female performer to reach that figure.
According to Whale report (a platform dedicated to measuring song trends in real time), the song 'Havana' continues to make history by achieving the figure of one billion 'streams'.
"This is my mood getting off the plane right now, because 'Havana' is the first song by a female artist that reaches one billion streams," wrote the Cuban-born performer on her Instagram account while at the same time posting a video of one of her fans dancing wildly to her hit.
Last June, Camila Cabello set the same record, reaching 880 million plays, surpassing singer Sia, who held the record with her song 'Cheap Thrills'. The former member of the Fifth Harmony group also became the first Latina performer to achieve this milestone.
