Today Friday, October 4th, Camila Cabello premiered "Cry For Me", her new song. This represents the third single that the Cuban-American releases within the span of a month.

The new theme from the Cuban-American shows the opposite side of what seems to be happening with Shawn Mendes -a honeymoon-; this new single is an ode for those times when love doesn't turn out as planned.

This is one of the songs that she likes the most from her new project, explaining that it contains the feelings that are experienced when your ex-partner moves much faster than you after the relationship ends.

"I want you to cry for me, cry for me; say that you would die for me, that you die for me", sings the 22-year-old singer in the chorus.

"Who will touch you like I do?; Yes, tell me: who?; Who could make you forget about me?", she sings while tears run down her face in the animation.

Through her Instagram account, the artist shared that this song was written when she was 16 years old and was dedicated to someone with whom she had a breakup.

"They were having fun, they were happy and going out, and I was like how?... what the hell?, it didn't take long", she confessed.

She also invited everyone who is going through something similar to do the same as her in the song: scream, cry, delete them and tear up their photos; all to let off steam.

The song was written together with Adam Teeney, Louis Bell and Ryan Tedder. This is the third release from Romance, after "Shameless" and "Liar". So far no official release date for the album, but it is expected to arrive before the end of 2019.

The Cuban has stated that this is one of the songs she likes the most from her new project "Romance".

Camila has expressed: "I plan to release a lot of new music in the coming weeks, this song is one of my favorites ? I think everyone has felt this at one point or another, when your ex moves faster than you and, of course, you want them to be happy but just… not so fast… this Friday I will release Cry For Me"; were the words that Cabello wrote yesterday in her post announcing the arrival of this song.
