Camila Cabello will bring Cinderella to life in new remake of classic animated film. The new film will seek to be a "modern vision of the fairy tale classic"
The world of cinema continues breaking schemes, increasingly seeking to empower women and show an increasingly transcendent role in daily life. Sony's next production seeks to continue rewriting society's paradigms by having one of the young musical talents lead its new film production.
The talented Cuban who also ventured into the world of modeling by participating in Paris Fashion Week 2019 will delight us by being the protagonist of the classic animated film, Cinderella.
The feature film, which is currently in the process of selecting the main actors, has also announced that Billy Porter has been selected to play the role of fairy godmother to the young Cuban.
Just as with each of the new film productions where the protagonist is a woman, the goal will be to change and redesign the original scheme of the animated classics where previously the female character was submissive and innocent, now she will show a role of greater control of her feelings, granting in equal measure an empowerment over her surroundings and her life. One of the film's producers will be James Corden and he comments that this new version will be a "modern vision of the fairy tale classic".
Similarly, it is sought that the talented singer participate in the film's soundtrack in which she will seek to imprint her musical stamp on one of the most acclaimed children's classics in history.
According to official sources the film will be released in theaters in 2021 and will be directed by Kay Cannon, who directed the Pitch Perfect film series.
For now we can only wait for statements from the beautiful singer of Cuban origin who so far has not wanted to comment anything about her new role as an actress.
