Content creation on social media has accelerated the digital revolution and transformation in the midst of the pandemic, and the fact is that remote communications of various information and content through the internet have become omnipresent in the economic activity of companies and in the daily lives of users who, far from seeing social media as a pastime, today are betting on them to drive their businesses and entrepreneurial ventures.
It is for this reason that Camila Arteche, popular Cuban presenter and actress; Héctor David Rosales, actor and director of photography; and Salvador de la Torriente, marketing and sales expert, have decided to join forces to create CLAP, Crea Like a Pro, a virtual academy with which they aim to educate entrepreneurs and business owners so they can achieve success on social media through the creation of good digital content.
"For a long time I have been receiving messages from my followers where they express to me that it is very difficult for them to speak in front of a camera, that they don't know how to pose or bring out the best in themselves or their products. On the other hand, I have many followers in Cuba, and there we are still in our infancy when it comes to social media, and that is the need to create content that educates," said Camila Arteche to DIARIO LAS AMÉRICAS about the project that seeks to make brands and business owners independent with their content.
Through a practical and theoretical course, CLAP or Crea Like a Pro, will deliver the tools for entrepreneurs to know who their ideal customer is, how to take advantage of social media, how to use technology, and the fundamental aspects of on-camera communication.
"We have many tasks with specific and practical exercises to improve each aspect," indicated the Cuban actress.
On the other hand, marketing and sales expert Salvador de la Torriente added that this is not a course exclusively for influencers, as it will be useful for anyone who wants to open social media accounts, or who is already on them and wishes to start generating quality content: "Sometimes people make things more complicated; they want to find a cameraman, lights, a sound technician, and with just a smartphone you can work wonders, the question is knowing how to use it and knowing the tools it offers."
About the course
With a structure set up online that will have three modules that will address the sales of products and services, customer service, the basic principles of photography and video, how to do it all with a mobile phone, in addition to on-camera communication and what you seek to convey, CLAP will have a technical support team that will allow students to have direct interaction with Camila Arteche, Héctor David Rosales and Salvador de la Torriente.
"Social media today is the most direct way to reach the public, and the way in which content is created should represent who you are, or the brand you represent. The first impression today—whether we like it or not—is sought on social media, and having mastery of what you want to communicate is vital. Every day is a decision and a path to be different. The goal is that what you do today leads you to that future you want to build," concluded Héctor David Rosales.
