Buena Fe has recently released on digital platforms the official video for Café, the most recent song by the Cuban band, included in the new album that the group will launch under the title of Morada
The song is available on all of the group's profiles and services such as Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Tidal, Google Play, YouTube Music, Deezer, Shazam and Altafonte. With lyrics by Israel Rojas, with arrangements, recording and guitars by Yoel Martínez Rodríguez, the single featured the talent of Yandi Martínez (bass), David Hernández Navarro (percussion), Adolfo Martínez Rodríguez (mixing and mastering) and Galician singer-songwriter Andrés Suárez, co-author of Café and with whom they previously made the hit Volar sin ti, recorded on the 2013 album Dial.
The partnership between Suárez and the Cubans has borne fruit. Volar sin ti is the Buena Fe song with the most streams on digital platforms. Now it's Café's turn, a song that according to the Spanish musician, contains nods to Ojalá que llueva café, by Dominican master Juan Luis Guerra. Israel Rojas, co-author of the song and vocalist, stated that in the arrangements of Café they sought to emphasize those nods.
«While the coffee is brewing Brown, black and bitter I understand why you are my woman. The light of my love. The sweetness of my years.»
With such words the feelings of many couples are summed up, whose little morning coffee ritual and breakfast is capable of containing complicity and love. Café is an appetizer for the rest of Morada, an album that we will continue to discover as the other songs that make it up are released.
