The Cuban duo Buena Fe, composed of Israel Rojas and Yoel Martínez, already has their new album ready, which under the title of Morada will be released next February 7th.
«We are very enthusiastic about this phonogram, it is one of the best we have ever made», assured Rojas in an interview with a team from the newspaper Girón.
"On this occasion we worked with a lot of young people, new arrangers, who have given a fresher vision to the final result. I think the songs also respond to a maturity that has come from knowing our audience better and what topics could generate interest.
"Today it is not enough to have a good package of songs, as there are maneuvers to prevent this type of music from being heard. Especially in our case, where there is a well-coordinated and fostered campaign to discredit us. That forces us to be much more precise in strategy and with audiovisuals".

Israel is referring to the video of his latest single that came out at the end of 2022 on digital platforms (Spotify, iTunes, Google play, Youtube music, etc.) and is his second collaboration with Galician singer-songwriter Andrés Suárez (Volar sin ti, 2013).
"This single has worked very well. We were in Mexico about two months ago and, when we sang it, two thousand people sang it in unison as if it were a song from 20 years ago. We have great faith that the same will happen with the rest of the album.
"Still, Café has not become very popular on radio or television. The media, even the national ones, show a certain tendency to replicate only what is trending on social networks, when we know that those algorithms are manipulated and do not correspond with the taste of the majority of the Cuban population. The cultural industry has become very little diverse".
Regarding the Athens Fusion Festival, a space where they shared with their Matanzas followers on December 30th, he asserted that this type of event is fundamental for young talent that is trying to position itself.
"New bands have the opportunity to stand out, to make their work visible, and old-timers like us can reaffirm our commitment to the public.
"The path in the world of music has never been easy, each era has its demons, and one has to follow it out of love, out of vocation, and knowing that success will not always be on your side".
