Raudel Gómez Hernández

Raudel Gómez Hernández, known by his stage name El Shadow, is a Cuban urban artist born in Camagüey. He began making music at age 15 and first drew wider attention in February 2026, when he had just 12,000 Instagram followers, after posting a video of himself performing a song and asking his followers to tag reggaeton star Nicky Jam. Nicky Jam responded enthusiastically in the comments, sparking a collaboration between the two.

On August 13, 2026, they released the single and music video "La Foto" together. El Shadow marked a milestone for Cuba's new generation of urban artists by filming his scenes on Playa Santa Lucía in Camagüey while Nicky Jam shot his in Miami. The track blends reggaeton with acoustic guitars and Afrobeats elements, and its video premiered exclusively through Billboard en Español.

Of the achievement, the artist said: "I do this for my family, my daughter, my people, my Cubans. This achievement is thanks to you and thanks to God."
