Rafael Inciarte Ruiz

He was a professor and skilled interpreter of double bass, violin, cello, trombone, cornet, euphonium, and founder of the Musical Band of the General Staff of the Eastern Army during the War of Independence of 1895, with the troops of the Lion of the East, José Maceo.

After the conflict ended, he created the Municipal Band of Manzanillo and the one in Guantánamo.

He was a composer of music for bands and created groups to perform classical music.
