Soprano. She is the daughter of Rafael Aquino and Emma Viel. She was born in La Habana.
She began her piano studies with Professor Emma Viel, continuing them at the "Guillermo Tomás" Conservatory of Music in Guanabacoa. She studied Harmony and Counterpoint with Professors Alfredo Diez Nieto and Ramiro Reyes; Acting and Body Expression with Master Armando Suárez del Villar, Vocal Technique with the masters: Rafael Aquino, Antonio Lázaro, María Antonia Cabrera, and Angel Menéndez.
Bachelor's degree in Music with specialization in Singing from the Superior Institute of Arts of Cuba.

Master's degree in Protocol and Public Relations from the American Institute.
She played the role of Hadley in the world premiere of the Opera Ernest Hemingway by Yuri Kasarian and Celia in the Opera "Donde Crezca el Amor" by Angel Quintero
She participated in the Tribute Contest to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, held at the La Fenice Theater in Venice, Italy, where she obtained an honorable mention from the Jury and the opportunity to study at the "Academy of Lyric Art" in the City of Osimo, Italy.
As a solo singer for the "Gran Teatro de La Habana," she performed numerous national and international tours, singing the repertoire of Operas, Operettas and Zarzuelas, such as: "Rigoletto," G: Verdi, Amina; "La Sonnambula," V. Bellini; Rosina, "The Barber of Seville." Rossini; Micaela, "Carmen," Bizet, Lauretta, "Gianni Schecci." G. Puccini; Oscar, "A Masked Ball," G. Verdi. Her repertoire includes sacred music, Lied, and various chamber works. She was part –as a solo singer– of the "International Company of Operettas," in Italy, performing in the main theaters of Rome, San Remo, Montecatini, Florence, Genoa, Mantua, Lignano Sabbiadoro, Salso Maggiore, Comune dell' Aquilla, Milan, Venice, Verona and Sicily. She has participated in: I International Festival of Lyric Art, II International Festival of Lyric Art, I Festival, "The Footprint of Spain," IV International Festival of Electrocaustic Music. International Festival of Opera, Ravenna. I Ibero-American Festival of Zarzuela. International Festival of Operettas, Trieste. II Ibero-American Festival of Zarzuela.
She has performed on different Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch and French radio and television networks.
She moved to Benidorm, Spain in 1994 –where she currently resides– to perform at the "Benidorm Palace" in this locality, and to fulfill various professional commitments in the Valencian Community such as different concerts and performances. She also gives lectures on Vocal Technique, Physiology and Voice Hygiene and History of Opera, Operetta, and Zarzuela.
