Luis Manuel Pérez Boitel

He was born in the city of Remedios in 1969, of which city he is an illustrious son. Master's degree holder in Law. Writer. He is an Honorary Member of the Hispano-American Union of Writers, Member of the Society of Latin American and European Writers and Member of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC)

He works as a lawyer at the Legal Consultancy of Remedios. Upon graduating from the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas (UCLV), he was elected the most outstanding graduate at the national level of the FEU in the sphere of culture 1996. He has obtained different literary honors. He obtained the Prize XV World Festival of Youth and Students in poetry with which he became a delegate to this grand meeting. He has publications of poems in Chile, Spain, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Mexico, United States, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Cuba and other countries. His work has been translated into several languages, including Dutch, French, English and Italian. He collaborates with different national and foreign publications.
