José Antonio Roche Sánchez

Victim of a painful illness, José Antonio Roche passed away in La Habana, a man who stood out for his immense effort to publicize the work of the information technology and telecommunications sector.

A journalist by training, born in Puerto Padre, Las Tunas, he earned throughout his fruitful professional and labor trajectory the National Public Relations Award, granted by the Asociación Cubana de Comunicadores Sociales, and the distinction of Outstanding Executive of ETECSA.

Following his death, a Journalism Contest bearing his name was created.
