Jorge Félix Alí Pérez

Beto

He graduated in 1979 in the acting specialty at the Escuela Nacional de Arte and became part of the Grupo Teatro Escambray, an important community theater experience in a rural area with very specific and complex social problems.

There he starred in some of the most important works in his repertoire, including Los novios, La emboscada and Molinos de Viento. During that same period he performed with the Teatro Estudio group in Shakespeare's La duodécima noche.

In 1985 he joins the Teatro Musical de La Habana, where he stars in Mi Solar, under the direction of Alberto Alonso.

Between 1986 and 1987 he integrates into the groups Teatro de Arte Popular and Teatro del Círculo, directed by Eugenio Hernández Espinosa and Pedro Ángel Vera, respectively.

During all these years, he combined his theatrical work with multiple television appearances in stories, serials and novels, work that continues to the present and has made him one of the most popular actors in our country.

He has made several tours abroad, among which countries such as México, Venezuela and Estados Unidos stand out, among others.

In Colombia he worked in the series Octavo pecado. He directed and starred in the theatrical version of Fresa y chocolate in Nueva York with the Repertorio Español group.

In recent years he starred alongside Paula Alí and other Cuban TV actors in the program Punto G in which he played the role of Beto which became very popular.

In 2010 he decided to emigrate to Estados Unidos
