Iván Silva
Iván Felipe Silva Morales is a Cuban judoka born on February 8, 1996, in Matanzas, Cuba. He competes primarily in the 90-kilogram category and is regarded as one of the most accomplished athletes of his generation in Cuban judo.
Among his major achievements are a silver medal at the 2018 World Judo Championship in Baku, Azerbaijan, four medals at the Pan American Games (2015, 2019, and 2023), and five titles at the Pan American Judo Championship between 2014 and 2024.
In 2026, Silva is preparing for the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo, where he aims to defend his title in the 100-kilogram category — a feat that would add a fourth medal to his regional multisport games record.
