Gualfredo Allué

Nené Allué

Died: October 12, 1959

Born in Camagüey. Composer and guitarist.

His name is Gualfredo, but in the world of Cuban trova, where he spent his entire life, he is known as Nené. He formed a trio, first, with Alberto Aroche and Joaquín García; later, with Justa and Ana María García, with whom he makes up the Trío García. He left several troubadour songs and was director of an ensemble that accompanied the recording of a María Teresa Vera album for the Kubaney label in 1956.
