The Cuban Flash

Frank Sánchez Faure, known as "The Cuban Flash," was born on July 18, 1992, in Guantánamo, Cuba. He is a professional super heavyweight boxer based in the United States, widely regarded as one of the best in his division.

He made his professional debut on September 22, 2017, and has compiled a record of 25 wins — 18 by knockout — and 1 loss. Over his career he captured the NABO and WBC Continental Americas heavyweight titles, competing in top venues including T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Barclays Center in New York, and Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Among his most notable victories is a unanimous decision win over Efe Ajagba in October 2021, on the undercard of the Fury-Wilder III trilogy fight. His only professional loss came in May 2024 against Germany's Agit Kabayel in Riyadh, in which he dropped his continental belts.

In May 2026, after knocking out American Richard Torrez Jr. in the second round in Egypt, the International Boxing Federation (IBF) elevated him to the number one position in its super heavyweight rankings, naming him the mandatory challenger for unified champion Oleksandr Usyk. This puts him at the threshold of a bout for the most coveted world title in the division.
