Fernando Dayán Jorge Enríquez

Fernando Dayán is a Cuban athlete who competes in the sport of canoeing, also called kayaking or Kayak in the calm waters modality. Olympic champion. Multi-medalist in world championships.

He participated in two Summer Olympic Games in 2016 and 2020, obtaining a gold medal in Tokyo 2020 in the C2 1000 m event (alongside Serguey Torres Madrigal). At the 2019 Pan American Games he won two medals.​

He won six medals at the World Canoeing Championship between 2017 and 2021.

In March 2022 he abandoned the Cuban delegation of his specialty in Mexico City.
