She studies singing with Daniel Marcos and makes her debut at the Teatro Lírico de Matanzas in 1975.
Her repertoire consists of numerous titles from Spanish zarzuela —Niña Pancha, by J. Valverde and J. Romea (r. t.), Luisa Fernanda (Carolina), Bohemios (Cossette), Los gavilanes (Adriana), La del soto del parral (Aurora), El barberillo de Lavapiés (Marquesa)— and Cuban —Rosa la China (r. t.), Lola Cruz (r. t.), El cafetal (Niña Flor), La Habana que vuelve (Florinda/Cuquita), Soledad (r. t.), Cecilia Valdés (r. t.), Amalia Batista (r. t.),— as well as the operas La bohème (Musetta) and Il tabarro (Enamorada).
She has performed with the Teatro Lírico Nacional de Cuba in Medellín, Colombia, 1987, Costa Rica, Spain, and Italy.
Currently she works as a soloist at the Centro Nacional de la Música de Conciertos.
