Elaine Vilar Madruga

Cuban poet and narrator, member of the Asociación Hermanos Saíz. Coordinator of the Fantasy Literature Workshop Espacio Abierto. Graduate of the XI Onelio Jorge Cardoso Literary Training Course.

Student of Dramaturgy at the Instituto Superior de Arte.

Graduate of Secondary Level Music in classical guitar specialization from the Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA) and from the Academia de Etnografía y Tradiciones Canarias in Cuba, in Literature. Collaborator and editor of the digital magazine La Voz de Alnader. Graduate of the XI Onelio Jorge Cardoso Literary Training Course. Member of the AHS. Coordinator of the Fantasy Literature Workshop Espacio Abierto.

Co-editor of the Cuban science fiction and fantasy literature magazine "Korad".

She has published the novel "Al límite de los Olivos", Editorial Extramuros 2009.
Anthologist of the fantasy story collection "Axis Mundi", currently in the editing process at Editorial Gente Nueva.
Her work has been published in various anthologies in Spain, England, Venezuela, Argentina, Uruguay, United States, Chile, and Cuba.

Alongside her work as a narrator, poet, and literature promoter, she worked at the Teatro Musical de La Habana in the Amphitheater of the Historic Center, under the direction of master Alfonso Menéndez; as an actress and singer in a musical show that premiered in April 2010, where she played the role of Carlota in Andrew Lloyd Weber's The Phantom of the Opera and Mrs. Potts in Alan Menken's Beauty and the Beast.

Member of the guitar trio Confluencias. She works as a guitar and singing teacher at the Casa de Cultura de Playa Mirtha Aguirre, where she founded the first guitar orchestra made up of children and young amateur members of the community, whose program includes both national repertoire and works from the ancient and baroque periods on an international scale.
