Bert Cueto, Dag,

He was born in San Luis, Pinar del Río, Cuba, son of Ceferino Concepción and Pura Rosa Cueto. The passions in his life were family, baseball, and caring for his garden.
Dag played professional baseball for 9 years, playing for the Charlotte Hornets in 1958, where he met his beloved wife, Brenda. In time he reached the Major Leagues playing for the Minnesota Twins in 1961, at that time he was 23 years old.
Dag batted right-handed, was a left-handed pitcher, had a height of 6 feet 4 inches and weighed 170 pounds.
After his professional career he continued playing at the local level for many teams until the age of 69, including the Reyes Gym baseball team helping them win several Roy Hobbs World Series. He worked for many years with Haverty Furniture and later with Embree-Reed, Inc.
