A year before graduating, painter Maykel Herrera and she met in Camagüey and under that philosophy they had been together since 2006.
This boldness in visual arts is due to being accompanied by an excellent artist who is also an accomplished master and always encourages her when it comes to learning. It was pure entertainment; one day she decided to tell Maykel about it and he supported her. She gathered so much energy that she was already exhibiting the following week, although it is an amusement, a way of sharing sensations with him, criteria that not only stay at the retinal level but reach more experimental and practical levels.
This identifies her with the world of textures, of colors, because she now better understands many matters that he talks to her about daily. They look for solutions together, study new compositions, pursue the exhibits and catalogs of the most contemporary work with the same enthusiasm and passion.
She likes diverse musicals such as Nuestra cultura. She listens to classical music but very much enjoys Caribbean music and loves Cuban trova. The imprint of Consuelo Vidal inspires her greatly and the serenity of Laritza Ulloa motivates her to continue fighting for perfection, and although all human work is imperfect she believes that it should be a priority in our careers to surpass ourselves in each endeavor. She likes biographical novels and reading books of legends and cultural curiosities about places in Cuba and the world.
There is a book that marked her life and it was a text by Frei Betto: Entre todos los hombres, which is about Jesus Christ. Saramago's proposals are something important to her. Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez is another jewel that she prefers to keep safely in her heart. One last book she cannot put down: Veronica Decides to Die by Brazilian writer Paulo Coelho.
