Alexis Miguel Pantoja Pérez

He holds a degree in Pedagogical Teaching and Education of Fine Arts.

His artistic studies began at the Elementary School of Fine Arts "Carlos Enríquez" in Manzanillo, continued at the Professional School of Fine Arts "El Alba" in Holguín, and he later graduated from the Superior Pedagogical Institute of his native city with a degree in Pedagogical Teaching and Education of Fine Arts; he also received academic lessons in the workshop of Holguín master Cosme Proenza.

He has taught workshops and lectures at the Superior Institute of Art (ISA) in Ciudad de La Habana, has been a jury member in competitions in different provinces of Cuba, and has served as a consultant and tutor at the Provincial School of Fine Arts in Santiago de Cuba. Currently he is President of the Fine Arts section of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) in the province of Granma.
