Alejandro Antonio Calzada Miranda

Studies:
1992-1995 Escuela Profesional de Artes Plásticas. Trinidad, Cuba. 1996-2002 Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA). La Habana, Cuba.

Professional Activity:
1993 Since this year and to the present, he has been carrying out public interventions in Las Parrandas de Remedios and other cities in central Cuba.
1995 Professor of Visual Arts. He creates the designs for the puppet theater work "Agüita de Todos" by the theater group Rabindranath Tagore.
1996 He directs the artistic direction of the fiction short film "¿Y tú qué quieres?", at the International Film School of San Antonio de los Baños, La Habana, Cuba.
2001 Invited as a speaker at the II International Congress of Culture and Development.
2002 He creates illustrations for the magazines "Catauro" and "La Isla Infinita" Publishes the article "El Mundo Visual de la Parranda" in the magazine "Catauro". He designs the scenography of "Carmina Burana" for the Ballet Nacional de Cuba. Participates in the "Parade the Circle Celebration", Cleveland, Ohio, Estados Unidos.
