Outstanding personality in Cuban research and education. Doctor of Medicine and Medical Sciences, with a long trajectory of dedication to the development of public health and in the defense and promotion of the Cuban revolutionary work.
He is Associate Full Professor in several higher education centers and also holds the category of Senior Researcher. He is Coordinator of the Technical Council of Projects of the Biotechnology Centers of the State Council of the Republic of Cuba and member of the Advisory Committee for Research of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and Coordinator of the National Program for Reduction of Mortality from Cancer.
He enjoys recognized national and international prestige in his specialty, Immunology, and is an excellent communicator, capable of motivating and inspiring new generations of students.
Specialist in Oncology at the Institute of Oncology and Radiobiology of MINSAP, who has accumulated extensive service records and contributions in the field of treatment of oncological diseases through Monoclonal Antibodies.
He has numerous publications in scientific journals and other teaching materials. He serves as Director of the Center for Molecular Immunology.
He has received numerous recognitions and decorations including the status of Honorary Member of the Association of Pedagogues of Cuba.
