Ph.D. in Philosophical Sciences. Professor of Marxism and specialist in the work of José Martí.
She graduated in History from the Instituto Superior Pedagógico Pepito Tey and was a member of the III Contingente Pedagógico Manuel Ascunce Domenech, completed the Escuela Nacional de Marxismo-Leninismo and a degree in Education in the same specialty.
At the Universidad de la Habana she completed advanced studies for professors of Marxism-Leninism and a specialized diploma in Martian studies. She holds a Master's degree in Higher Education Sciences and earned her Ph.D. from the Universidad de La Habana with the thesis Approach to the Philosophy of Education in José Martí.
She has served as a professor, methodologist, chair of department, professor at the Centro Universitario de Las Tunas, Vice Dean of universalization, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Director of International Relations. She currently teaches in the Community Cultural Development Master's program the courses Thought and Nation and Current Problems of Cuban Culture.
She is a member of the Provincial Council of Social Sciences, the scientific advisory council of the University and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the Academic Committee of the Master's program. She coordinates and teaches courses in the Doctorate in History and Culture.
She has conducted various research projects and directed projects of a historical, philosophical, and pedagogical nature, focusing on Martian themes, Cuban thought, among others.
Awards and Recognition
For the results of her research she has obtained:
Seven CITMA awards, including the Scientific Book Prize as co-author of the book Political Sciences and the Challenges of the 21st Century
National Vanguard of the Education Union and ANIR for several years.
Rector's Prize as the most well-rounded professor.
She has participated in national and international events.
Publications
Her scientific results have been published in Cuba, Argentina, Costa Rica, Mexico, and England.
She is co-author of three books and two monographs on Martian themes and her articles have appeared in the Proceedings of international conferences.
